our school launched the three-year "Community-Based Support Service" in June 2023 to provide ongoing assistance to soon-to-graduate students, graduates living in the community, and their caregivers. Through this program, visually impaired youths learn independence, community integration, and the skills needed to transition smoothly into adulthood.

Social workers tailor individualized training programs based on participants' abilities and needs, including:

Independent Living Skills Training

Home-based Training

Community Living Skills Training

These cover areas such as self-care, cooking techniques, orientation and mobility, and using community facilities, helping students and graduates reinforce skills learned at school and apply them in daily life.

For Work Skills Training, in addition to basic desk-based training, participants gain hands-on experience by running a "Lighting Cafe," selling homemade festive treats, snack packs and drinks to staff, practicing packing skills, retail operations and customer communication.

For Social and Leisure Activities, participants join regular gatherings and recreational events to learn and apply social etiquette and communication skills.

["post-1071","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
